October 18th, 2007
Right Turn Clyde is a fantastic indie/posthardcore pop unit whose influences include The Melvins, Jawbreaker, Samiam and No Fx to name but a few. RTC has been active since the early ’90s — first as Slugbug and then as Right Turn Clyde starting in ‘94. The band has two albums to their credit, one single and one split double EP with The Krayons.
Here’s a video produced by singer/songwriter Noah Drumwright for the song, “Day Off”:
You can buy their 2003 CD, “Shimmer Glimmer Gone,” at INTERPUNK.
